Many clients find accessing psychological support in their own homes to be less stressful.  In addition, for clients with a problem that has lead to significant withdrawal, it may be necessary to begin treatment within a safe space.  For some clients with significant health problems, home visits may offer the simplest means of accessing psychological support.

To take advantage of the medicare rebate a client needs to have consulted with a GP to create a mental health care plan which entitles them to access up to ten sessions per year.  If you wish to clarify what your entitlement is, you can speak to a GP about your referral options.  For further advice on your entitlements to medicare supported psychological help, please follow the link.

Note: Bulk Billing is available for eligible clients. See link to determine medicare eligibility.
